Itinerary
The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, the complete version that offers all the splendor and majesty of the Andes in a single unequaled route, which ends with the Inca citadel of Machupicchu, considered one of the most important in the world and the one with the highest demand in our country, forms an inevitable part of our service offer described below.
DAY 1:
We must first move at a prudent time to Pisqakucho at km 82 of the railway line that leads to the district of Aguas Calientes, from the km 82 we will start the route along the left bank of the Urubamba river after crossing the bridge that gives access to this route . On the way, with the team already full of porters, cooks and guides that will accompany us along our journey, we will continue among the first fantastic landscapes that will offer us this route until arriving at Llaqtapata (2650 masl), where we will continue this time through the route of the Kusichaca river, where we will have the first lunch after the midday, then finally we will arrive to our first camp: Wuayllabamba (3000 masl).
Distance: approximately 11 km.
DAY 2:
A selected diet for our activity will be present at the first breakfast which will allow us to start the day in the direction of the Warmi Wañusqa (4200 masl) the highest point of the whole path, after having crossed the area of Lulluch’a Pampa (3840 masl). The landscapes of this day dazzle us in an altitudinal transition that will take us to the zone of puna. The final destination of the day and the corresponding camp is this time in the area of Pacaymayo (3600 masl) to which we will arrive after a descent that will last in an average of one hour. We will have the lunch in our camp this day.
Distance: approximately 9 km.
DAY 3:
We will leave Pacaymayo by zigzagging ancestral road that will lead us to the archeological complex of Runkhunraqay (3700 masl), after taking a slight rest in a landscape of forests and steep hills, we will continue the road that led us to this place until arriving to the second place that takes the same name at 3900 masl, a path with beautiful stone steps will take us on a direct descent to the archaeological site of Sayaqmarka (3620 masl). The final camping zone will be assigned by the appointed bodies in the area of Phuyupatamarka (3650 m.s.n.m) or Wiñay Wayna (2650 m.s.n.m).
Distance: approximately 11 km.
DAY 4:
Very early we will undertake our last route with the purpose of saluting the sun in its imposing sunrise in the area of Inti Punku, later we will descend in average of one hour until the control point of the archaeological center of Machupicchu where we will leave our luggage to make the corresponding visit to the archaeological center, thus completing one of the most famous tours that Cusco has to offer the world.
The schedule of descent to Aguas Calientes town, lunch and return to Cusco city must be previously agreed to take appropriate measures and be able to arrive without further novelty to the station of Ollantaytambo, from where we will undertake the return to the city to finalize our service.

OPTIONAL:
In addition to the entrances to the archaeological complex of Machupicchu you can make a previous reservation (3 months before) to make the following additional visits:
- Huaynapicchu.
- Machupicchu Mountain.
You must add an amount for these reservations.

Userful Information
USEFUL INFORMATION:
- For this activity is preferable a whole day of previous rest, also take care of your diet, preferably it should be light.
- Take into account that you must have optimal physical condition, should indicate any health deficiencies you have.
- The city of Cusco has constant climate changes, in addition you will find yourself in different geographical areas, always carry a warm light garment and a rain coat garment.
- It is also necessary to considerer that because of the height at which we are, the level of ultraviolet (UV) radiation reaches levels of 16, so the use of sunscreen is very important.
- Remember to always carry your passport with you, request your visit stamp.
- Remember to check your train schedules to avoid any inconvenience and dosage your time properly.
- If time allows you should visit the hot springs of the town, and take a tour of the town, remember that this is pedestrian in its entirety.
- The route is not very extensive, take only the necessary implements for a more pleasant experience, our team will give you the specifications about it.
- Remember to carry the necessary implements that must not exceed 5kg per person according to the current regulations.
