South Valley of Cusco, the original territorial cradle that allowed the birth and consolidation of one of the greatest cultures in the world has to offer us, open to the whole world, the heritage of a legacy of more than 1000 years.

ITINERARY

At 8:30 am we will pick you up from your hotel and take course towards the southeast of the city by the road that was going in Inca time to the region of Qollasuyo, after about 45 minutes of travel along 21 kilometers that will take us, from passing through the historic towns of San Sebastián, San Jerónimo, Saylla, Huasao, until arriving at the town of Tipón, in this place we will take a detour in a northerly direction for an average time of 20 minutes until arriving in the middle of the mountain to the archaeological site of Tipón (3560 m.a.s.l.), as an engineering jewel, this place represents in itself the best qualities that Inca architecture could offer.

Aproximately after an hour of visit, we will descend and continue along the main road passing through other towns such as Oropesa and Lucre until arriving, after 20 minutes, to Pikillaqta (3200 m.a.s.l.) another archaeological center that evidence of the long time of human occupation of this valley and which in turn gives hints of the historical formation of its most outstanding residents.

We will go to another stage of history with the visit of the temple of Andahuaylillas (3122 masl) which is one of the highest examples of Andean baroque. Dazzled with its history and art will undertake the return to the city of Cusco to culminate with our activities at the agreed time.
