Tour Maras - Moray

Maras – Moray, another of the classic tours that our city offers and necessary travel. The pick up from your hotel will be between 8:00 am and 8:30 am will give way to our day by the Cusco – Urubamba road until kilometer 88 of this route, by which we will take the direct detour that will take us to the archeological center of Moray ( 3500 m.a.s.l.) in about half an hour, then we will be dazzle with the contemplation of the most beautiful landscapes in the route and when we reach this first point, we enrich ourselves with the visit to this archaeological center, which is one of the greatest expressions of engineering Inca, approximately one hour later we will return to the town of Maras (3385 m.a.s.l).

An approximate descent of 20 minutes through a rural landscape will take us to our last point of visit, the salt mines of Maras, in which we will be able to appreciate the whole process of extraction of the natural salt whose resource is one of the main economic income sources for this place. It should be mentioned that the beneficial mineral properties of this product are highly appreciated in relation to health care.
